More and more people are looking for quality and recognise immediately, whether your opponent is able to handle a professional machine and a milk steamer properly.
Make your first step to becoming a professional barista and let us train you in our SCA Barista Foundation course!
Our barista courses are held according to the standardised certification system (the Coffee Skills Program) by the Specialty Coffee Association (SCA) and are therefore internationally recognised by coffee shops around the globe.
The SCA Barista Foundation course at the Vienna Coffee College is held in combination with the SCA Module Introduction to Coffee. That is because we want to prepare our students at the beginning of the course with all the basic and necessary coffee knowledge they need to start with the barista module afterwards. This module has a theoretical test which will be held as an online exam by the students.
After a break we are heading into a 1.5 day barista course within the Barista Skills manual - the SCA Barista Foundation course - which will conclude with a final theoretical and practical exam by the independent institute, the Specialty Coffee Association (SCA). In this course we are teaching upcoming baristas and coffee lovers everything they need to know about how to handle a semi-automatic espresso machine and milk steamer properly. All practical parts will be also taught in theoretical lectures.
This educational course will be held be the authorized and international barista Trainer Michael Haller. He is authorized to teach SCA certified courses and exams.
